We called our caravan service guy for advice on repairing the washing machine. He said DACAPS were the agent for repairing the Lemair 2.2. We called them and spoke with another tech guy, he advised if the pump needed replacing, they would have to order one in, cost was $60.00 with a Lemair delivery fee of $20.00. I explained why I though the pump was broken and he suggested remove it from the machine and check for blockages anyway. Even if it doesn't pump out the water it can still be blocked, or jamed, even if water runs out when you lower the hose.
We have been in Cowaramup for 3 nights now. Bruce and Gina arrived Thursday night and setup in the site next to us. Friday morning we went into town to purchase a few items and look around. We visited the bakery and suddenly I had cravings for a meat pie and since it was lunch time well who am I to resist. Bruce had to buy some bits for his van the trailer plug was heaverly corroded and required replacing.
Todays plan is to Drive from Benger to Tauton Park near Cowaramup where we will meet up with Bruce and Gina for a few days and giving us time to get ourselves into the routine of living on the road.
After months of planning moving belongings into storage and living in the caravan parked in the shed for the last week and a half the day has finally arrived we are heading off. Today's plan is to drive to Mandurah get the caravan serviced then head to Benger for the night and catch up with Steve, Jen and the kids.
With only 5 days to go we have moved from the house over the weekend and into the caravan. As much as I am looking forward to traveling moving house is not high on my list of enjoyable tasks. The though of all that packing, throwing out old things, selling the stuff you don't think you will need again and finding a place to store what you want to keep is not that appealing to me. It would have been easier to leave everything in it and lock the door but since we were relying on rent from our house it was our best option.
