We have been in Sydney for nearly 7 weeks, and have 16 days to go before we return to North Queensland. We have established a routine of getting out and about at least every other day, even if it is just for a drive down the coast or a train ride into the city.
While travelling, I have been documenting our jouney in pictures and words on our web site. I'm not a natural wordsmith, some days I would avoid writing a blog and opt for something else more interesting, ironing or washing the dishes.
Happy New Year, welcome to 2017 which will sadly be our last year of doing the Big Lap Around Australia. There are various reasons, we only planned to be away four years; travelling funds are starting to dwindle and (most importantly) Oma really misses the grandkids.
Christmas is gone for another year. 2016 is almost over with the new year rocketing towards us. This will be our last entry for The Big Lap, Year 3. But wait! all is not over as we have one more year (or there abouts) of travelling in 2017.
